Community Spotlight: Dan Glassman

As a non-profit organization we are constantly looking for innovative solutions to help us advocate for our clients. With a staff of 30 advocates, there is no doubt that community involvement helps us reach that goal. We are so proud to be a part of a community that understands domestic violence and works side by side with us to help end the cycle. Each month we will introduce you to a new community partner. This month we are thrilled to share the great work of Dan Glassman, a local attorney in Gainesville.

Together, Dan Glassman and Nick Zissimopulos have worked in the Gainesville Community for nearly forty years.  They have dedicated themselves to provide legal services to those in Gainesville and the surrounding communities who are in need of help.  When Dan and Nick established the Law Offices of Glassman & Zissimopulos two years ago, they made a commitment to strive to give back to the best community they know.  The community which is the home of the University of Florida, a place where both Dan and Nick received their undergraduate and law degrees and where they now both hold positions as adjunct professors.  In working as Pro Bono Counsel for Peaceful Paths, Dan and Nick are excited to partner with a Non-profit organization that provides a safe haven for both adults and children who are victims of violence.  This organization provides services to individuals regardless of age, race, religion, color, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identification, citizenship, immigration status, marital status, or language spoken.  As not only lawyers in this community, but individuals who raise their families in this community, Dan and Nick are thankful for the opportunity to serve.
