Support groups are...

Empowerment-based, survivor-centered, educational, interactive, safe, supportive, & confidential

Some examples of topics covered in these groups include:

  • Power and Control

  • Abuse red flags

  • Cycle of violence

  • Healthier relationships

  • Managing stress

  • Safety Planning

  • Self-compassion

  • Mindfulness

  • Trauma responses

  • Healing

  • Emotional regulation

  • Boundaries

​Gainesville Support Group 

Location: Peaceful Paths Outreach Office

Tuesday & Wednesday: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Thursday: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Child and teen groups run concurrently with

many of our adult support groups!

​

  1. Intake* required to participate (learn more HERE about how to complete a new client intake).

  2. Monday the week of group, call 352-377-5690 to sign-up (max of 8 participants per group).

  3. If you are bringing children, please be sure to provide the number and ages of each child. 

How Do I Sign Up To Attend?

*Intakes include filling out paperwork and meeting one on one with a trained domestic violence advocate.
