Support Groups

A confidential, safe space to find support and heal

Support groups are...

Empowerment-based, survivor-centered, educational, interactive, safe, supportive, & confidential

Some examples of topics covered in these groups include:

  • Power and Control

  • Abuse red flags

  • Cycle of violence

  • Healthier relationships

  • Managing stress

  • Safety Planning

  • Self-compassion

  • Mindfulness

  • Trauma responses

  • Healing

  • Emotional regulation

  • Boundaries

*Intakes are intended for anyone who has not received services before or who has not participated in services for over 1 year. Intakes include filling out paperwork and meeting one on one with a trained domestic violence advocate.

Gainesville Support Group 

Location: Peaceful Paths Outreach Office

Tuesday & Wednesday: 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm

Thursday: 11:00 am- 12:30 pm

Child and teen groups run concurrently with many of our adult support groups!

How Do I Sign-Up to Attend?

  1. Intake* required to participate! 

  2. On Monday the week of group, call 352-377-5690 to sign-up (max of 8 participants)

  3. If you will be bringing children, provide number of kids and ages of kids.

Starke Support Group

Location: Peaceful Paths Satellite Office – Bradford County
403 Georgia Street, Starke, FL 3209

Tuesday: 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm

(No sign-up required)

NEW! Queer+ Survivors Support Group

Location: Pride Community Center of NCFL
