Make a difference in your community. Volunteer!
Peaceful Paths cannot exist without community support, and volunteers can be critical for promoting awareness, collecting donations, and extending our advocacy services. We have a variety of ways for you to become involved with our agency. If you are interested in either direct service or administrative volunteering, please fill out our Volunteer Application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. A volunteer application is not required for one-off volunteer help, as long as it does NOT involve direct service with clients.
Support Volunteers: Support volunteers help Peaceful Paths put on events, process donations, assist with operations in our Outreach Office, and more! We host volunteer groups of all sizes, and have short-term projects available as well as opportunities for long-term and ongoing support. Let us what your interests are, and we’ll find an opportunity to suit you!
Administrative: Administrative Interns assist in Peaceful Path’s Reception, responding to incoming calls and office needs in the Outreach Office.
Fundraising & Special Events: Are you task oriented and like to make phone calls, stuff envelopes, decorate, and run errands? Our Fundraising Office is always in need of help in executing our events. For more information about this opportunity please contact Stephanie Freas at 352.377.5690 or email at email@example.com.
Donation & Storage Center Organizing and Sorting: We have an ongoing need for volunteers in our Donation & Storage Center. If you love sorting and organizing this is the volunteer job for you!! For more information or to sign up to volunteer for in our Donation & Storage Center please contact Brandi Corbin at 352.377.5690 x211.
Direct Service: Direct service volunteers engage with our clients in residential service settings and with adult and children’s programming. All direct service volunteers must complete a state-mandated direct service training, which is held twice a year. As such, direct service volunteers are encouraged to get involved with our organization first as a support volunteer. Priority for direct-service training is given to those who are able to make a longer-term commitment.
Interns: Peaceful Paths offers dynamic internships for undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining valuable experience for credit. To read about our current/future openings, please click the link below.
Child & Youth: This internship involves planning and facilitating children’s support groups, and providing childcare support.
Development/Marketing: This internship involves planning and executing events as well as all marketing and communications for our agency.
Violence Prevention: This internship includes helping youth to build awareness about healthy relationships and domestic violence.
Economic Empowerment: Economic Empowerment interns work with our Housing and Relocation Program provide programming and support to clients.

We are always looking to build relationships with community supporters through donation drives and program support. If you, your office, or your family are interested in hosting an event or listing Peaceful Paths as the beneficiary of your event, please visit the 'Raise money for us' page of our website. We encourage individuals' families and businesses to support us through donation drives and service for volunteer requirements!
